Lauren Tobia
Lauren Tobia is a children’s book illustrator from Bristol. After graduating from UWE Bristol's brilliant illustration course she has illustrated more than 25 books for publishers both in the UK and US.
She is known for her work on the award winning “Anna Hibiscus“ series of both fiction and picture books written by Atinuke (Walker Books) and the acclaimed “Happy in Our Skin “ by Fran Manushkin, published by Candlewick in the US. Recently her first author illustrated picture book "Oscar’s Tower of Flowers" was published by Walker Books UK and Candlewick in the US.
When she is not illustrating she can be found on her allotment drinking tea and watching the grass grow or running after her grandchildren.
