Christina Bretschneider

Christina trained first as a painter in Dusseldorf, then realized she wanted to be an illustrator. She then went to Hamburg and discovered her talent, graduating with a Master (Diploma) of Design.

Three days later she moved to Berlin. She has illustrated three books for Tivola in Berlin and regularly contributes illustrations to newspapers and magazines in Germany. Christina has also exhibited her work at The Bologna Book Fair Illustration Exhibition, in 1997 and 1998. Her first love remains children’s book illustration.

Christina, now lives in the beautiful city of Potsdam with her husband and two children.
